BA with honours in Psychology from St. Francis Xavier University, Masters in Kinesiology from Western University, PhD in Kinesiology from University of Toronto

Biography:

Jonathan Hood is an Assistant Professor of Sport Management at the Gerald Schwartz School of Business. Before joining StFX, Jonathan had a 6-year professional football career. He was drafted to the Edmonton Elks, and played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Toronto Argonauts. He also has extensive work experience in the private sector as a leadership coach and public speaker. Jonathan’s research interests include leadership development, knowledge translation and application (KTA), and positive youth development through sport.
